This medium size chamber lamp is made of tin. The pear shaped oil font has a whale oil burner, dating it to at least the mid 19th century, quite possibly much earlier. Nice simple design with a 6" saucer base with finger loop. Stands 7" tall and is in good, strong condition.  $ 165. + shipping
