Wonderful 19th century childs sled with great looking red and yellow paint and stenciling. Super sturdy wood construction with inner seat. Wood runners with metal on the bottom. Love the red paint on the box with yellow paint on the runners and inside. Stenciling as well, in and out. Two holes on the front runners for attaching a rope and two little metal rings next to the seat, probably to secure the child. Overall measures approximately 38" x 14" x 13" tall. The sled without the runners is approximately 26" x 12" x 10" tall. Some nicks and paint loss, but really in remarkable condition. A wonderful display piece. $ 395. + shipping
