Fantastic old 19th century, possibly 18th century tin hanging lantern with glass sides. Pierced tin on top for venting with a hanger. It has a whale oil burner inside. Very used with oil inside and out, tin is rusty, but still strong. I've left it as is and untouched, with the whale oil burner stuck inside by the spilled oil. Lantern is 4" square and 12" tall. Glass is all intact. A great piece of early lighting. $ 175. + shipping
