Antique Small Lidded Wood Box Dated 1832
Beautiful little homemade oval box, 6" x 4", 3" tall. Best I can figure out, appears to have been made in Conway, Mich. by Clara Bernard in 1832 and then presented to Miss Alma Bernard in 1891. Hand written in pencil on the inside top and then again on the bottom. In remarkably good condition given its age and lightweight wood. A small chip off the top of the lid and a couple slivers off the top of the box. $110. + shipping
